This nursery makeover is one that I truly would not have believed I would get to do. After years of secondary infertility, we feel so incredibly blessed to be able to have more children, and getting to decorate a sweet little storybook nursery with lots of sentinmental touches for our new baby girl has been the icing on the cake. Here are all the details on our whimsical storybook nursery makeover!
I centered the theme around this sweet wallpaper (Called "Busy Brook") from Nestig. I am a sucker for toile, and a whimiscal, farm animal and nature themed pattern for a nursery was just too perfect (they have other colors too!). By the way, you can see the video of this transformation here.
I painted the beadboard with Sherwin Williams Flat Steppe initially when we made over the room for my oldest and was excited how beautifully it went with the wallpaper.
I discovered Nestig when we had our son (who is now 2.5) when exploring furniture options that were made with healthier materials. They are not only the most gorgeous cribs, but all of them come with what you need for a mini crib, full crib, and toddler bed. Going with Nestig for this nursery was a no brainer, and I ordered The Wave Crib in Walnut (pictured here in the "mini crib" set up).

Another stop in your tracks it's so good furniture piece is this dresser (in color "Coconut"). I also used this dresser in my son's nursery and a friend's I just helped make over, because they are so functional- the perfect height for a changing station, huge amount of storage space, and so so pretty.
I DIYed art from my favorite storybook my grandma used to read me as a child that tied in so perfectly with the wallpaper. I thrifted a few frames and painted them, then mod podged animals
I copied and cut out from the book.

The last little corner is so sweet to nurse and snuggle in while I look out the window. This glider is so comfy and reclines when i'm not snuggling my feet on the rug. I love the pop of brass and rattan from the lamp, and sitting under the rose my grandma painted.
